Applications like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter played a role in the recent "Arab Spring." They brought people together with a common cause to start a revolution, Literally!!! I hope web and app developers around the world will see the potential they have in what they do. There are so many things that need change today. We can start a revolution and even watch it rise through both web and phone applications. With economies around the world needing change to move toward recovery it'll be interesting to see what applications will make it through this revolution.
